Sterile adhesive shaped dressing made of hydrocellular polyurethane foam with a tristratified structure whose conformation adapts to the heel and other morphologically similar body areas.
The dressing's special shape reduces the possibility of accidental detachment due to frictional forces by prolonging its permanence in situ, resulting in reduced costs in wound management.
Do not combine the dressing with oxidizing agents such as hydrogen peroxide and hypochlorites.
Euroderm foam plus concave can be used as a secondary dressing in combination with cavity dressings, gauze, alginates, CMC, under compression bandages for the treatment of venous ulcers and, in the presence of necrotic tissue or fibrinous lesions, in combination with Hydromed gel.
The dressing may remain in place for up to 7 days; however, frequent inspection is recommended. Dressing changes are related to wound types, the amount of exudate, and clinical conditions. Euroderm foam plus concave is latex-free.
Indications: Diabetic foot ulcers, stage 1 to 4 pressure injuries, prevention of pressure ulcers in patients with poor mobility, surgical wounds, 1st and 2nd degree burns, skin sampling sites.
Benefits:
- Maximum patient comfort: The dressing's special shape reduces the possibility of accidental detachment due to frictional forces by prolonging its permanence in situ, resulting in reduced costs in wound management.
- Atraumatic and painless change.
- The dressing consists of an adhesive Polyurethane (PU) film that is impermeable to fluids and bacteria and has relevant breathability. Thus, it prevents maceration of the insertion area.
- High absorption capacity: absorbed fluids are evenly distributed within the pad, which perfectly conforms to the heel or morphologically similar areas.
- It acts as a barrier and avoids contamination by bacteria and external agents.
- The thickness of the foam creates the cushion effect that reduces pressure on the lesion, counteracts any friction forces, and thus provides comfort and protection for the patient.
- Does not adhere to the wound.
- Easy to apply.
Indications:
- Diabetic foot ulcers.
- Prevention of stage 1 to 4 pressure ulcers in patients with limited mobility.
- Surgical wounds.
- 1st and 2nd degree burns..
- Decubitus and noninfected wounds have medium to high exudate production during granulation or re-epithelialization.
- Skin donor sites.
- Euroderm foam plus concave can be used as a secondary dressing in combination with cavity dressings such as gauze or alginates, Eurosorb roll, under compression bandages, and, in the presence of necrotic tissue or fibrinous lesions, in combination with hydro med gel for the treatment of venous ulcers.
- Do not combine the dressing with oxidizing agents such as hydrogen peroxide and hypochlorites.
