Eurosorb roll is a sterile, conformable primary dressing in roll form. It is soft and highly absorbent, composed of gelling calcium alginate fibers.

In contact with exudate, Eurosorb roll forms a biocompatible gel that maintains a physiological moist environment, stimulates the healing process and granulation tissue formation.

Eurosorb roll can absorb up to 10 times its weight in exudate. Depending on the condition of the wound and the amount of exudate, the dressing can remain in place for up to 7 days.

Eurosorb roll is an integral alginate that absorbs exudates and holds them between the fibres. Its advantage is that it can be removed in one piece without releasing alginate residue.

It does not cause trauma to the newly formed tissue, does not adhere to the wound, does not release absorbed exudates, preserving the skin from maceration, and does not need to be irrigated.

Indications:

• For moderately to very exuding wounds, such as lower extremity ulcers, decubitus ulcers, skin graft sites, and pressure ulcers.
• Eurosorb roll is indicated for hyperexuding cavity lesions.
